It was especially great for me to see all of my classmates. The day after graduation, I was in bootcamp, and was gone for a few years, so I lost touch with everyone. The reunion committee did a fantastic job. I enjoyed seeing everyone, and regret that there wasn't enough time to actually sit and talk to more people. It takes awhile to catch up on 30 years. Hi to everyone! I just got out of St Als Hospital. No joke. I had nerve PAIN in my left arm suddenly and went to Dr. Zimmerman. He was great, and now I have a big bunch of stiches on the right side of my neck. But hey, I would have done anything to get rit of the PAIN. I would gladly have TEN more children then to have continued with the nerve PAIN in my arm, shoulder, neck, and upper back. So, I am very thankful I did not have to go to the reuion with thick glasses and a ugly scar. Now on to the more important topic, Celia, what happened to the Boise plan? I would love to hear from you. I am hopeing that you are still coming. Also, Steve Anderson, Brian Wilson, and Debbie Richards please write to me @ treemairs4@yahoo.com Brad, when is our next date? I lost my notes. Tree Date: 08 Sep 2005

Ok, if Mr. Tate is willing to be responsible for the Bay area, I will take on the whole state of Rhode Island...ok, that is small, how about all of New England? Being one of the unfortunate few who did not make it back to Boise for this incredible reunion...I of course would love for there to be one in 5 rather than 10 years. Knowing however that it must have been so much work, I feel a little guilty saying that...I live far away (not Western Oregon Linda, but still...) and can't help with the physical stuff...but letter writing, phone calls, etc, count me in. It has been a hoot reading the banter on this website, and connecting with some folks I never even knew that well back in high school. Thanks to all who worked hard on this event..to everyone who attended...and please, come to the next one...whenever it is! Pat Palmer...really, my e-mail address works fine..please try again! Josierock@aol.com I would love to hear from you all. Sally Scudder how are you?...do you see Kris Priest? Ron Eardley, I've lost your e-mail, drop me a line. Stay well everyone. Peace! Sheesh, can't you guys cut a girl a break? Did I say Western Oregon? I really meant WAY Western Oregon...like Japan! OK, so I really live in Corvallis. How many of you are coming over for the football game tomorrow? After splitting my life evenly, 24 years in Idaho and 24 in Oregon, I must say I'm torn about whether to root for the Broncos or Beavers! Last year I took the Beavs (it's almost mandatory, as I work at Oregon State) and got endless harassment from friends and family back home. What to do? Linda W. Date: 11 Sep 2005

Pat: I'm thinking the bios page would be great. Pat: I know that Nancy Foss has supplied BDG with some personal information which might be a step in the right direction. The "Mas" man sent me a lengthy bio in our emails prior to the reunion - very interesting life. I know that many will be looking for the "Wim Speth School of Swing Dance" page and perhaps old Wim could supply some background???? Have shifted some political discussion with various "75ers away from the Guestbook so the postings have diminished. (I know big sigh of relief.) TTFN Tate Date: 13 Sep 2005

Pat and Dennis I was also at the thrashing in Athens, sorry I didn't run into you! Pat, do you still have the 30th reunion book from my sisters class? We need to hook up! Oh and by the way, I had a great time at the reunion and feel the same as BDG about not being able to visit more w/each of you! I vote for 5yrs. Carol Date: 14 Sep 2005

I've been in on the political discussions with Tate, so haven't felt the need to post here. However, after reading Brad's comments about/to Matt Schwarz I had to tell this story. One evening 3-4 years ago Matt was on my unit (at St. Luke's)examing a newborn. He was in the nursery, behind glass and the baby's family was watching through the window. Many of the nurses were "sauntering" by ogling the cute doctor, who they didn't know. One of the family members said, "He's not as young as he looks." I said, "I know exactly how old he is - I graduated from high school with him." She whipped around and looked at me incredulously and said, "YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" All the other nurses had a really good laugh. So thanks Matt, for entertaining the troops. Unsigned Date: 16 Sep 2005

All these postings about this having been the Mother of all Reunions has me really sad that I missed it, and I'm adding my name to those calling for another one in five years! (Anyway, it might take that long for Canada Post to get the mailing to me, so send it now.) Tree, my plans to come to Boise were cancelled at the last minute. Long, weird story which I'll save for when I do make it out there. Sorry to hear about your awful nerve "thing" and glad it got fixed --- I hope it stays that way! By the way, you were one of the few people I actually recognized immediately from the photos on that website referred to in one of the postings. You look just the same! I recognized a couple of others, but for the most part realize that the reason I never see a familiar face when I come to Boise is that I'm still looking for eighteen-year-olds! (No, you guys reading this -- not THAT way -- ) Anyway, I'm sure the reverse is true as well. I haven't had a lot of chance to read the site lately as I'm working up to becoming a(n?)MOB. Mother of Bride. The wedding of our eldest daughter happens in November and we're into the home stretch to "tulle time." We got our youngest settled at the University of Toronto just over a week ago and I'm still getting the daily "how long does a cinnamon roll last in the fridge" phone calls. And I moved my mother into a retirement home a block away from me, so life is rich and full indeed. Speaking of Toronto, I know darn well that some of you out there must go there for business or whatever sometimes.... Let me know, if any of you are planning on being in T-dot. It's a great city, and I've love to zip up there and have a visit or play tour guide a bit! Seriously. Celia Date: 16 Sep 2005

Oops -- I meant to say the postings "have" me wishing I'd been there, not "has". Whatever else one thought about Mr. Osborne (gr. 8 English) at North Jr. High, his grammar lessons were the only ones I remember and have stuck like glue! CS Date: 26 Sep 2005
