June 2005 Comments Date: 02 Jun 2005 CommentsI still remember taking alot of those candid yearbook shots! Good times! I look forward to seeing my old classmates this summer. Turns out I was headed back to McCall for vacation that week so timing was perfect. Dave Hair Date: 04 Jun 2005 CommentsWow, what a blast from the past! 30 years? Can't be! Seems like yesterday...ok, maybe last week, but not 30 years! Very cool hearing from all those old friends. Looking forward to the reunion and seeing all the old pals again. Hope we can all recognize each other. See you there. Ron Ingalls Date: 05 Jun 2005 CommentsIt's been fun reading through all the comments. By the way, Doris Amos, Jeri Newsom & Bob Kincaid aren't lost - they all work at St. Luke's with me and Doug Maus. They must have addresses here in town, somewhere. Sue(Frisch)Karpen Date: 06 Jun 2005 CommentsThings were so much simpler back in 75 when we didn't have all these computers. But then again I make my living off of them now. I work for Intel in Seattle. See you all this summer. Dave Hair Date: 07 Jun 2005 CommentsI know I'm only supposed to post once but I can't help myself! Its great reading all the names I've thought so often about over the years. Brian Wilson your e-mail doesn't work! E-mail me at the address on my first post. Are we not related now or something? I'm in for golf at the course my Daddy taught me on, with my wife for dinner by the pool I learned to swim in, the family for brunch at the school I learned what friends are for. Really looking forward to it. Nice work on the site Palmer. Peace to all you war-mongering Yanks, Randall Ried Rousey. Date: 08 Jun 2005 CommentsI am trying to manage and edit out the SPAM that we currently receive in the Guestbook section. I will perform the maintenance routinely. For those that want to submit more then one note or comment, please feel free, that is what this site is for. So Randy if you want to write a note everyday, just go right ahead. Hopefully, everybody has received the lastest mailer. Fill out the registration, write out the check and drop the bundle in the mail to us. We are anxious to put the final touches on the events. Thank you. Ben Jennings Date: 08 Jun 2005 CommentsIt was so nice to receive the invitation card and the brochure. Thank
Date: 09 Jun 2005 CommentsWow Nice site! I have a son coming home from Iraq that week. Dont think I'll make it If anyone ever plays Vistoso in Tucson I'm on the 14th Green' stop in for a home brew and a dip in the pool. Stay safe and be happy I wish you all the best of times at the Reunion. May the Force be with you all. Cliff Aldrich Date: 15 Jun 2005 CommentsThanks, Ben, for keeping the site up to date. Ick on the spam! But it can't be helped! Sue Frisch: Can you ask Doris, Jeri, and Bob to send us their contact info via the site? Mas: How wonderful that you will fly from Tokyo to attend! I'm looking forward to seeing you. You might try the Idaho Heritage Inn. It's located downtown, so not far from Boise High or Crane Creek: http://www.idheritageinn.com/ Brenda Foster, Ben's reunion co-chairperson Date: 16 Jun 2005 CommentsWell.. I think the website is great. As an update on my personal life, here goes: I am married to the lovely Lauren and live in Piedmont, California. We have a daughter - 14 - "Clara" who is quite the Basketball star (3-point shooter) and taller now (5'6") than I was when we graduated in 1975. (Those of you who remember my athletic prowess no doubt realize that at 14 she is a far superior athlete than I ever was.) She has a Hunter jumper horse and rides in the Oakland Hills everyday. (I want to come back as my child) We have a black cat (Nat) and a black standard Poodle (Marco) The man still has me down - I work for a Philadelphia law firm and travel quite a bit. I have become a polyurethane rubber guru (Rember: Plastics!) and now deal with exfoliated aluminum alloy issues (pretty exciting stuff, huh? Answer: No) Anyway I have a trial concerning bad aluminum set in Seattle this Fall so I will bother Brad G. and Tom B. for a few weeks. (Anybody out there know anything about intergranular corrosion??) I plan to attend Scottie Laxson's raft trip unless Boise passes some ordinance banning refreshments on the river. The evening party should be a riot - as it always has been. (My apologies to those I have offended in the past - whether by solo conduct or in conjunction with other reprobates... and I hereby apologize in advance for any future (2005, 2010, 2015) offenses and insults.) I just attended my 25th college reunion in Los Angeles and (except for myself) everyone had gotten old! Hope you folks look better! Seriously though, these reunions do help you put things in perspective - one misses the people who are no longer with us and hopefully one appreciates those who are still around. I hope you all make the effort to come. It is very special for those of us out of towners who don't get to see people very regularly. Best, Scott Tate Date: 16 Jun 2005 CommentsHEY! I clicked on one of the spam entries and now my bank account is empty and my credit cards are maxed! I blame Ben for this. I'm really looking forward to seeing folks and comparing notes on surviving teen age kids. I especially look forward to catching up with classmates I haven't seen in a long time. I haven't talked to Gummersall in ages! Where is Whiffin? Where is my old debate partner, Dick Johnson, Boise High's Master Debater? Dick, you cunning linguist, you had better be there! I look forward to sharing another refreshing soft drink with Nancy and perhaps recreating the infamous "Laugh" picture in the year book. Mas, I promise not to spike your coke with 151 rum this time. Swear to God. See everyone on Tate's birthday! Brad Grisham · Date: 16 Jun 2005 CommentsGeez Tate, When's the movie coming out? Now that we're all caught up on you, just send Laurie. Gum
Date: 16 Jun 2005 CommentsDear Uncle Al: Lauren feels sorry for you and is willing to be your date for one evening. P.S. Stick a fork in your back, feel the blood droul down....Wait for the Movie!
Date: 17 Jun 2005 CommentsHey Our There???? Other than Grisham and Gummy, I don't see alot of activity (except of course for the spam entries); where are you folks?? Charlie Schmoeger and Chris Morgan, are you guys alive?? Does Hickerson have a pulse? Is Toni S. still in New Mexico? Where is Kaye Stones? Is Olson still hanging with the bug man? Michelle Magnuson - are you out there?? Dwayne Lee, I apologize, again. I, hope all of you come - wouldn't want to miss Sonic Boom One laughing in your ear - as she did in my ears for several (at least it seemed like several) years in Mr. Nichol's American Government class! (Okay I admit it - I'm bored to death. Anybody gotten really wealthy lately and in need of a personal atty (who has never practiced or even been admitted in your local jurisdiction but who looks a bit like like a really, really good atty) so that you are able to say you have an attorney at your beck and call? If so, send a recent bank statement (notarized)and appropriate personal information.)Will travel anywhere but Florida or Texas. Tate
Date: 18 Jun 2005 CommentsSome things never change...still hard to get a word in edgewise when Tate is around! Ron Ingalls

Dennis White Date: 25 Jun 2005 CommentsThanks for the pictures. Needless to say we all have gotten older. I know it's been 30 years since I've seen everybody, and hard to believe I'm alittle nervous about seeing some of you, but what the heck. Here is my update, I have six children 3 boys and 3 girls. My oldest is 21, Jr at University of New Orleans. Brandon Jr. 6 1 LB in football, in High School, daughter Chelsea soph. Cheerleader, Lucianna 8th grade cheerleader, Christian 11, and Micheala 7. We are a football family in some manner or other. We live North of Atlanta in the city of Woodstock. I really thank Pat for such and excellent job, and was great to see some of you as you look now. Rory, Mikie, Dick, Ron, Jeff it's been to long, but we are still the same. The last thing I ask, is that when you read this please say a prayer for our classmates that have passed on. Peace be with you, see all of you in August. Rory Dennis White Date: 28 Jun 2005 CommentsHi. I came back to reclaim my home (Boise) seven years ago this August. Upon our graduation in 1975, I went to Palo Alto and Berkeley, CA for several years, to Eugene and then Portland, before making it back. Our kids were going into 6th and 7th grade at the time of my return. Now my husband and I have a son, Harrison, who is going to be a sophomore at Whitman College in Walla Walla, and a daughter, Carolyn, who has just graduated from Boise High this spring. This is the first reunion I will be attending and I'm really looking forward to it. My life has been so enveloped in our children and in my work that I have not reached out to others very well. But what a pleasure it always is to see those people who've known me since I was young, and who know all those ideosyncracies about the "LeeAnn" as I was growing up. Some of you may know that I have 3 sisters, and in my reflecting over the years, I've concluded that none of their classes were lucky enough to have had the combination of good people and wonderful personalities our class of 1975 had. And I find that no matter where we go, and how we come back, there is a warmth and goodwill always waiting here. There is no way around it...the combination of the people in our class brought out the best in us. So coming home, and anticipating this reunion both evoke the same feelings: that this will be a very good thing. Please come, if you can. If you decide to come out from the woodwork, wonderful. And if you decide to come a long distance for this reunion, I don't think you will regret it. We are all a part of eachother's personal histories, and this is a time to celebrate that. It's been years, but I promise that you won't feel like that for long when you attend the reunion events this summer. I hope to see you soon. LeeAnn Johnson-Berry Date: 28 Jun 2005 CommentsDoug Maus-------Hello all Boise High 75'rs. I'm looking forward to this reunion. I hope everybody comes. A lot of work has been put in to getting this ready. Thanks to everyone who has worked on it. Reggie Van Waggoner----if you get on this page, you ought to try and come to the reunion. Date: 30 Jun 2005 CommentsTerry Hanson called tonight to say she is registering for the reunion. She is concerned because she does not own a car and does not drive and would like to get a ride to the reunion Saturday night from some classmate going her way. She lives off Fairview, I think, so any classmate coming in from Meridian would potentially be going right by her place. We'll figure out the return home later. If anyone can help out please contact me and I can provide the contact information or I can make the arrangements, either way. Thank you. Ben Jennings/Terri Hanson |
